Whether you decide to sponsor some aspect of PLIDAs efforts or contribute to the general cause, your tax deductible gift supports PLIDAs mission to ensure that all families experiencing the death of a baby during pregnancy, birth, or infancy will receive comprehensive and compassionate care from diagnosis through the reproductive years.

PLIDAs activities include:

One of our activities is organizing the International Perinatal Bereavement Conference, a biennial gathering of professionals and parent advocates that promotes support, education, and awareness;

Researching, writing, and distributing Position Statements that advocate for the emotional needs of bereaved parents, and provide the information and support that professionals need to provide the highest quality care;

Setting up and maintaining an annotated web-based Resource List of supportive materials and organizations for bereaved families and the professionals who work with them;

Producing a quarterly newsletter and networking opportunities for PLIDA members, in order to provide a sense of community and create an international voice advocating for the needs of bereaved families.
