The Fetal Therapy Nurse Network (FTNN), and Pregnancy Loss and Infant Death Alliance (PLIDA) will collaborate for a panel presentation at AWHONN’s Annual Convention in June.

Join us at AWHONN’s annual convention in Aurora, CO June 25-29, 2022!  FTNN, PLIDA and AWHONN are offering a panel presentation focused on supporting families through the trauma, grief, and loss experienced with prenatal diagnosis of fetal anomalies. This presentation will take place on Sunday, June 26, 2022, from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM MDT at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center.

  • Formulate an individualized plan of care that supports the family through various complex fetal diagnoses.
  • Examine resources to support patients and families through perinatal loss.
  • Investigate the role of perinatal organizations in supporting families faced with a fetal diagnosis or a newborn with life limiting conditions

• Katie Francis, MSN, APRN, Program Coordinator at St. Louis Fetal Care Institute at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, founding President of the FTNN and Governance Chair for FTNN.

• Emilie Lamberg Jones, BSW, RN, C-EFM, CPLC, Fetal Care Coordinator at the Fetal Concerns Center at Children’s Wisconsin, former PLIDA Vice President, and FTNN Member.

• Gina Leigh Jones, RN, CPLC, Coordinator of Bereavement and Supportive Care Services in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital, PLIDA President and FTNN member.
