Board of DirectorsContents of Board of Directors Application Packets• Letter signed by PLIDA President inviting members to consider a leadership position on the PLIDA Board - download here Requirements for Board of Directors Applicants• Be a PLIDA Member with dues up to date
• Have served, be active and in good standing on a PLIDA committee for a period of no less than one full term cycle. Exceptions will be considered on a case by case basis
• Apply for a specific identified area to serve:
o Education/Research
o Advocacy
o Maternal Fetal Health
o Strategic Planning
• Possess leadership qualities that will advance PLIDA as an organization
• Not have served and cycled off the PLIDA board for a period of two terms prior to application. This does not apply to a current board member in good standing who has not served the terms allotted in prior version of bylaws.
• Submit a complete application to [email protected]. Application Form and Conflict of Interest Form need to be typed and submitted electronically in a Word Document format
• Submit resume of experience related to identified position sought
• Include Employer Support Letter with the application
• Attend the Biennial International Perinatal Bereavement Conference- required
